NIH AIM-AHEAD
At CDHAI, our esteemed faculty have been recognized for their leading roles in programs endorsed President Biden, highlighted in his Executive Order on the Safe, Secure, and Trustworthy Development and Use of Artificial Intelligence.
The AIM-AHEAD program, part of the National Institutes of Health, is a pioneering initiative dedicated to fostering mutually beneficial partnerships and advancing the representation of underrepresented researchers and communities in the development of AI/ML models. Ritu Agarwal and Guodong (Gordon) Gao, Co-Directors of the Center for Digital Health and AI (CDHAI), are among the multiple principal investigators for the Data Science Training Core (DSTC) of AIM-AHEAD and Dr. Gao is one of the faculty leading the AIM-AHEAD Program for AI Readiness (PAIR) program.
